By Air: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the main gateway, located about 27 km west of downtown. The UP Express train runs every 15 minutes from Pearson to Union Station (25-minute ride), which is steps from the Fairmont Royal York.
By Train: VIA Rail and Amtrak services arrive at Union Station, directly adjacent to the hotel.
By Car: The Fairmont Royal York offers valet parking. Self-park garages are also available nearby. Highway 401 and the Gardiner Expressway provide easy access to downtown Toronto.

Daytime Sessions: Business casual is recommended. Think smart but comfortable — collared shirts, blouses, slacks, or skirts. Jeans are fine if paired with a polished top.
Evening Events: Keep it casual. The Thursday evening event is slightly more dressed up, but suits and dresses are not required.
Toronto in mid-July is warm (average 27°C / 80°F), so lightweight fabrics are advised. Conference rooms can be cool with air conditioning, so bring a light layer.

Getting Around: The TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) subway and streetcar network is convenient. A PRESTO card makes fare payment easy. Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) are also widely available.
Currency: Canadian Dollar (CAD). Credit and debit cards (including contactless) are accepted virtually everywhere. Tipping 15–20% is customary at restaurants.
Must-See Nearby: The CN Tower (15-min walk), Ripley's Aquarium (15-min walk), St. Lawrence Market (10-min walk), and the Distillery District (short streetcar ride) are all worth visiting if you have free time.
Weather: July in Toronto is warm and occasionally humid. Pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light rain jacket just in case. Evenings are pleasant for waterfront strolls along the Harbourfront.
